How to Set Up VidarDNS on Windows
Follow the steps below based on your Windows version. Make sure to save your current DNS settings before making changes.
Windows 11
- Go to Settings from the Start Menu.
- Select Network & Internet, then choose your connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- Scroll to DNS server assignment and click Edit.
- Set IPv4 to Manual and turn it on.
- Enter the following DNS address:
Primary: 34.58.76.115
- Set IPv6 to Manual and enter:

Click Save to apply the changes.
Windows 10
- Open the Control Panel.
- Go to Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change Adapter Settings.
- Right-click your active network and choose Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
- Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter:
Primary: 34.58.76.115
- Repeat the steps for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) if using IPv6 and enter:

🔍 How to Verify VidarDNS is Working
- Try visiting twitter.com or x.com or instagram.com. If they don’t load, you’re good!
- Use Private Browsing or Incognito mode to avoid cached results.
- Want to double-check from a terminal? Run:
nslookup twitter.com
You should see a response like this:
Server: 34.58.76.115
Address: 34.58.76.115#53
Name: twitter.com
Address: 0.0.0.0
Name: twitter.com
Address: 0.0.0.0
If you see `0.0.0.0` — that means VidarDNS is working and blocking distractions 🎯
